pine/2016
When I was studying tombstones as my master's thesis, I noticed a pine tree in most cemeteries and lots of pine nuts lying on the ground. I also found pictures of pine trees on many tombstones. It was an interesting contrast that the pine was a sign of both life and death. In my opinion, the fruits of the fallen pine on the ground were scattered and forgotten pieces of life. that also reminded of death. By collecting and using them (more than 16,000), I tried to represent a space that reminded the audience of the glory and order of life and nature through dead materia.
